Terex CC 2800-1 - Dufour
This is the third Terex CC 2800-1 of Dufour from Tournai (BE), the other cranes can be found here and here on this website. This is a used crane of Steil from Trier (DE), what explains the different colours.
It is a 600-tonne crawler crane. The crane is 10.4 meters wide. The superstructure is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA diesel engine with 530 hp.
The tracks are 11.66 meters long, 1.5 meters wide and 1.685 meters high. The mass each is 44 tonnes with the single drive.
In total is 60 tonnes of central counterweight installed, 30 tonnes per side.
The crane is erected with the full counterweight of 180 tonnes. That exists out of a 20-tonne base plate and 16 slabs with each 10 tonnes.
The crane is equipped with two 16-tonne hoist winches with 28 mm cable.
The crane is erected here in SSL/LSL+LF2+SGL_S7 configuration, 108 meters of tapered main boom with a 12 meter fixed jib.
The superlift boom is 30 meters long and has a backradius of 11 to 15 meters. The maximum superlift counterweigt weights 300 tonnes.
In the boom foot of the superlift boom is the adjustment winch for the main boom installed. When the luffing jib is used, the adjustment winch will be installed in the boom foot of the main boom. That space is open here.
At Dufour are the cranes mainly used to erect wind turbines.
