The Dufour company from Tournai (BE) owns a big fleet of large lattice boom cranes whose are mostly used to erect wind turbines. In total three Terex CC 2800-1 crawler cranes were part of the fleet.
It is a 600-tonne crawler cranes. The crane is 10.4 meters wide. The crane is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA engine with 530 hp.
The crane is fitted with the full counterweight of 180 tonnes. That exists out of a 20-tonne base plate and 16 slabs with each 10 tonnes.
A wide tracks (with 2 meter plates) and two drives (quadro drive) weights each 55 tonnes. The tracks are 11.66 meters long and the height is 1.685 meters.
The carbody with superstructure with winches and A-frame weights 83 tonnes.
Between the tracks is in total 60 tonnes of central counterweight installed.
The superlift boom is 30 meters long and has a working radius between 11 and 15 meters. The maximum superlift counterweight is 300 tonnes.
It is possible to attach mechanical outriggers to the tracks so the crane can erect longer main boom without superlift boom.
The crane is erected here in SSL/LSL+LF2+SGL_S7 configuration, 108 meters of tapered main boom with a 12 meter fixed jib in superlift.
A very sharp crane in this colors!
