Mayer from Burgberg (DE) is operating this FAUN HK 50L on a MAN truck chassis. It is a 50-tonne crane.
The crane is installed on a MAN TGA 41.430 8x4-chassis. The both rear axles are powered, the two front axles are steerable. The truck is powered by a MAN D20, a 10.5-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 430 hp.
The K-shapped outrigger base measures 6.455 x 6.28 meters.
The crane has 10.2 tonnes of counterweight with a 3.45 meter tailswing.
Between the two front axles is the muffler installed. The diesel tank is installed in front of the third axle. Between the third and fourth axle is the box for the operation of the outriggers visible. Above are multiple storage compartments made.
At the back are the wooden beams, to compensate larger height differences between the outriggers, transported on a frame.
The crane was together with the FAUN ATF 60-4 used to lift tanks and to load them onto the low loader. The main boom is here extended 25.3 meters. The maximum boom length is 40.2 meters for the HK 50L, the normal HK 50 had a 32.7 meter main boom.
In transport mode is the crane 11.78 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.94 meters high. A sharp crane in the colours of Mayer!
