FAUN ATF 60-4 - Mayer
This FAUN ATF 60-4 of Mayer from Burgberg (DE) was used to lift tanks. It is a 60-tonne crane with year of manufacture 1999.
The outrigger base measures 7.8 x 6.27 meters, or half 7.8 x 4.46 meters.
The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 501 LA, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 260 kW (354 hp). This crane has the optional 8x6-drive line where the last three axles are all driven. All axles are steerable.
At the rear of the chassis is a frame for the outrigger woods attached, often used to compensate differences in height below the outriggers.
The full counterweight weights 13.2 tonnes and has a 3.45 meter tailswing.
The crane is lifting here a tank onto the low loader. The main boom is for this extended to a length of 17.8 meters.
The main boom has a 10.4 meter base length and extends four times to a total length of 40.2 meters. A 9 / 16 meter long folding jib can be mounted under 0, 17 or 30 degrees.
Packed is the crane 11.78 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.6 meters high. The crane weights 48 tonnes, this is including the 13.2 tonnes of counterweight.
