Lifting of tanks by Mayer

For a principal from Kempten (DE) was Mayer from Burgberg (DE) using a FAUN ATF 60-4 and a FAUN HK 50L.

Two tanks will be transported, but the tanks are vertically built and stored.

Because the tanks will be transported by low loader are two cranes required to tilt the tanks and to load them onto the low loader.

The FAUN HK 50L has the main boom extended to 25.3 meters, the tanks is approx. 20 meters long. The FAUN ATF 60-4 is now attached to the bottom of the tank and will pull the tank from underneath away.

Here is the tank already loaded in the girder bridge, the tank has a mass of approx. 8 tonnes.

The main boom of the FAUN ATF 60-4 is also 25.3 meters extended.

The transport of the tanks was also done by Mayer, that was using their sharp Volvo FH16 660 with a 2-axle low loader.

The second combination is now ready to get loaded.

The bottom of the tank is reinforced with concrete and is because of that loaded towards the gooseneck.

The second truck is a sharp DAF XF 460 that was also used with a 2-axle low loader.

The tanks have a 4.2 meter diameter. Because of the width is the transport only allowed to drive in the evening and night.

With thanks to Mayer!
