A Terex AC 200-1 of Steil Kranarbeiten from Saarwellingen (DE), the crane was used as assist crane by a Terex Superlift 3800 crawler crane, also of Steil.
It is a 200 tonne crane on a 5 axle crane carrier. Packed is the crane 14.02 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters high. His transport mass is about 60 tonnes. Powered is the crane by a DaimlerChrysler OM 502 LA 8 cylinder 516 hp diesel engine. A speed of 85 km/h can be reaced on the road.
The widest outrigger base of the crane is 8.44 x 8.2 meters, or 75%: 8.44 x 6.85 meters or half 8.44 x 5.95 meters.
The engine in the superstructure is a DaimlerChrysler OM 906 LA with a power of 231 hp. With them are three hydraulic pumps driven to operate all crane functions on the same time.
The crane is fitted with 43.4 tonnes of counterweight, two big hang-on slabs of each 12.8 tonnes are missing to complete the 69 tonnes, which is maximum. The tailswing of the counterweight is 4.8 meters.
The main boom extends 6x to a total length of 67.8 meters. The boom is extendable with a 17 meter folding jib. With the boom fully extended and with 43.4 tonnes of counterweight, the crane can lift 12 tonne on a 16 meter radius or 1.4 tonne on a 54 meter radius.
In the Netherlands these crane were popular on a 6 axle crane carrier, the P-execution or even with a 7 axle crane carries, the TP-execution. It is then possible to drive with more counterweight on the crane over the roads, the superstructure didn't change. Also Blansjaar is owning a 7 axle version.
