This Terex AC 500-2 of Sarens was used by the hoisting of
beams for the Odebrug in Amsterdam (NL).

For a better pressure distrubution the crane was rigged at beams with a sand bed below.

The crane was fitted with 160 tonnes of counterweight, the max. counterweight of 180 tonnes is only usable combined with the SSL boom guying.

The outrigger base is 9.6 x 9.6 meters.

The comprehensive outrigging had the do with the underlying cables and subway line. The quay was also 200 years old.

It is the smallest 500 tonne crane built ever, packed the crane is only 19.3 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters height. With outriggers the mass is 100 tonnes.

The main boom is 56 metres long and is extendable with a 62.4 meter fixed jib or a 96 meter luffing jib. With 33.2 meters of main boom and 160 tonnes of counterweight (see photo) is 166 tonnes lifted at 6 meters
and 44.4 tonnes at 30 meters radius.
