Luna was founded in 1960 by Manuel Luna Perbech as a steel construction company. Because of the growing economic in Spain was the demand for construction machinery
also growing, was in 1962 the first hydraulic crane built. Next to cranes are also forklifts, reachstackers and mobile harbour cranes made. In total are already over 3,000
Luna machines supplied. The biggest crane ever built by Luna is the GT-300, a 300-tonne crane with only one unit ever produced. Today is Luna producing telescopic cranes up to
90 tonnes on AT or truck chassis.
