Lifting beams by Sarens
We could see before how proffesional Sarens was hoisting beams in the centre of Amsterdam (NL), this time beams were hoisted for the new Ramspolbrug near Kampen (NL).
This time both crane were working on the pontoon; a Hitachi Sumitomo SCX2800-2 and a Terex AC 700.
The beams weight about 150 tonnes and are about 50 meters long.
The pontoon with crane is driving back and forth. The barges belong to Hebo from Zwartsluis (NL).
A detail of the Hitachi Sumitomo SCX2800-2. The crane is fitted with a 30.5 meter main boom.
The AC 700 is put up with 160 tonnes of counterweight, SSL boom-guying and also a 30.5 meter boom.
Between both crane is driving an SPMT loaded with a lot of counterweight. Because of this it is not necessary to ballast the pontoon every time, to safe a lot of time.
