An early morning in Singapore (SG), employees from Bok Seng are preparing the Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 for some heavy lifting.
The 7-sheave hook is maximum reeved at 15 part lines, good for a lifting capacity of 171 tonnes, the hook it self weights 2.7 tonnes.
Next to the LTM 1500-8.1 is the Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 being set up, the YSL boom guying was just unfolded here.
The LTM 1750-9.1 is set up in TY-configuration, the main boom is extended to a length of 27.2 meters.
The 7-sheave hook of the LTM 1750-9.1 is also fully reeved, good for a lifting capacity of 193 tonnes. The hook itself weights 4.5 tonnes.
The LTM 1500-8.1 is fitted with 135 tonnes of counterweight.
The LTM 1750-9.1 is fitted with 204 tonnes of counterweight.
The cranes are ready, the load to be lifted is this Menck MHU 1900S hydraulic hammer that is transported by the MAN TGS 40.540 with an 18-axle Scheurle K25 platform trailer to the cranes.
The load with a mass of 287 tonnes is hanging in the cranes here. The LTM 1750-9.1 is lifting 166.4 tonnes and the LTM 1500-8.1 is lifting 129.9 tonnes. This is including the rigging and hook.
The radius for the LTM 1500-8.1 is 9 meters and for the LTM 1750-9.1 is that 9.5 meters. The load will only be lifted up so that the MAN can drive away and will be lowered then at the same place.
The huge hydraulic hammer will be stored and maintained in this yard.
The main boom of the LTM 1500-8.1 is extended to a length of 31.7 meters.
The second load is this Menck MHU 1200S hydraulic hammer with a mass of approx. 150 tonnes.
Also this hammer is relatively quickly unloaded, parallel behind the MHU 1900S. A very sharp job done by the professionals of Bok Seng!
