Bok Seng from Singapore (SG) had multiple Liebherr LTM 1500(-8.1) in operation, this is the most recent unit. The crane's year of manufacture is 2013.
The crane is here fitted with a 50 meter long main boom. The crane is mainly used for heavy lifting and has with the short main boom a better load chart. The crane is equipped with the hydraulic jib.
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D9508 A7, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 500 kW (680 hp). The axles 1, 2, 4 and 5 are powered, the axles 1 to 4, 7 and 8 are steerable. Technically is the crane able to reach a driving speed of 80 km/h, but this is in Singapore limited to 40 km/h.
The outrigger base of the crane is 10 x 9.6 meters, or half 10 x 6.25 meters.
In transit is the crane 21.4 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters tall. This crane has a total mass of approx. 110 tonnes with the YSL superlift mounted on the boom.
The cabin swings during transport over the road behind the superstructure. During crane operation is here a maximum of 165 tonnes of counterweight mounted.
The crane is in Singapore tested with a load of 243 tonnes.
A very sharp crane in the colours of Bok Seng, of this crane also a WSI scale model in 1:50 scale was produced. With special thanks to Bok Seng for posing the crane!
