Volvo FH16 750 - Rontransmar
This sharp Volvo FH16 750 of Rontransmar from Uriu (RO) stood together with a Volvo FH 540 parked at the border near Venlo (NL). The combination exists out of a 4-axle truck with a 7-axle semi low loader.
The truck is a Volvo FH16 750 with 8x4-drive line that is powered by the strongest version of the Volvo D16K, a 16.1-liter diesel engine. The engine has a power of 552 kW (750 hp) and has a torque of 3,550 Nm.
Behind the front axle are storage compartments and compressed-air tanks installed.
The conversion from 3 to 4 axle truck and the installation of the equipment tower behind the cabin were done by Popp Fahrzeugbau from Nürnberg (DE). Behind the cabin are the large dieseltank, storage compartments, a hydraulic oil tank and multiple compressed-air tanks installed.
On this side are the AdBlue tank and the Euro 6 muffler installed behind the front axle.
The cargo on the 7-axle semi low loader is the track of a Terex CC 6800 of Sarens. The track is 13.7 meters long, 2 meters wide and 2.6 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 70 tonnes.
