Volvo FH 540 - Rontransmar
This sharp Volvo FH 540 of Rontransmar from Uriu (RO) stood with an oversized cargo parked at the border between Germany and the Netherlands near Venlo (NL). The combination exists out of a 3-axle truck with 4-axle trailer.
The truck is powered by a Volvo D13C, a 12.8-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 396 kW (540 hp). This truck has a 6x2-drive line, the front two axles are steerable and only the last axle is powered.
Behind the front axle is the large diesel tank installed.
On this side are the smaller diesel tank and the Euro 6 muffler installed.
Attached is an extendable 4-axle Nooteboom semi low loader.
The cargo are boom sections of a Terex CC 6800 of Sarens. The outer boom section is 3.5 meters wide and approx. 12 meters long.
