Scania R 730 - Hup Hin

Hup Hin from Singapore (SG) is deploying this sharp Scania R 730. The truck stood parked here with a 6-axle trailer with oversized cargo along the road in an industrial area.

The truck is this Scania R 730 with 6x4-drive line. The truck is powered by a Scania DC16, a 16.4-liter 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 537 kW (730 hp). The truck is fitted with a Highline cabin.

Behind the front axle are the muffler, AdBlue tank and the diesel tank mounted.

On top of the two driven rear axles is a ballast box mounted, in the box are counterweight blocks loaded for sufficient pressure on the rear axles. The amount of counterweight depends on the total mass of the cargo. The box itself weights around 2 tonnes.

Attached to the bumper is a coupling to push trailers.

Attached is a 6-axle Cometto modular trailer. Between the two 3-axle-modules is a flat bridge mounted.

The cargo exists out of components of a portal crane. The two yellow beams weight around 10 tonne each and the two blue beams weight around 7 tonnes each, the total cargo is about 34 tonnes. Due to the dimensions is the transport only allowed to drive after 7:00 PM under police escort.

A very sharp vehicle of Hup Hin!

Here was the Scania R 730 used with a 10-axle trailer to transport a TBM to a storage yard.

The trailer exists out of a 6 and 4-axle module of Cometto.

The cargo weights 93 tonnes and would be unloaded by the Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 of Moh Seng.

When the combination is entering the storage yard are the hydraulic steering and leveling well visible. A sharp combination by Hup Hin!

Here was the sharp Scania R 730 of Hup Hin used for the transport of an oversized steel construction.

The transport will leave the industrial area in the west of Singapore and will be driven to the airport in the east.

Attached is a 10-axle Cometto trailer.

A few days later I found the truck again, here are large cooling towers driven to a new data centre.

Here is a 6-axle trailer towed, between the two 3-axle modules is a large bridge mounted.

Quickly after arrival is the combination reversed into the construction site, a sharp combination of Hup Hin!
