This is the second Scania R 620 deployed by Hup Hin from Singapore (SG). The truck was used as ballasted tracktor with a 10-axle Cometto platform trailer.
The 3-axle heavy haulage truck has a 6x4-drive line which is powered by a 15.6-liter Scania V8 diesel engine with a power of 462 kW (620 hp) and a maximum torque of 3,000 Nm.
Behind the front axle are the muffler, AdBlue tank and diesel tank mounted. Behind the cabin is only a large frame mounted to protect the cabin.
The truck has a fifth-wheel and a heavy tow bar coupling and can be used with all kinds of trailers.
To take care of enough pressure on the driven rear-axles is a counterweight box mounted. The counterweight box weights around 2 tonnes only and is filled with three blocks with each a mass of 5 tonnes.
Attached is a 10-axle Cometto platform trailer, loaded with two oversized cooling towers.
here is the combination driving rear wards to the construction site where the Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 of Huationg (Asia) was working to unload the combination.
