This sharp Scania R 620 of Brenner Spedition from Dormettingen (DE) was used to transport a large concrete beam to a construction site in Steinheim (DE).
The combination exists out of a 3-axle Scania truck with 6x4-drive line with a 4-axle Doll trailer.
The 3-axle heavy haulage truck with a 6x4-drive line that is powered by a 15.6-liter Scania V8-diesel engine with a power of 620 hp and a torque of 3,000 Nm. Behind the front axle is a diesel tank installed.
On the other side is behind the front axle a muffler, the AdBlue tank and a second diesel tank installed.
The cargo is on the front side loaded in a frame that is installed on top of the fifth wheel. During the transport of the empty combination is the dolly attached as a trailer to the truck.
The rear side of the beam is loaded on a 4-axle Doll dolly. The dolly and truck are attached with each other by a steel cable, the dolly is pulled by the cable and not by the cargo because concrete cannot be loaded to much with tension. The beam is 30 meters long and weights 33.6 tonnes.
The Doll dolly has two steerable front axles.
The combination was unloaded by the Tadano ATF 400G-6 of Mayer.
