This is the second MAN TGX 26.480 of Tiong Woon from Singapore (SG), this combination was also deployed to deliver a large concrete beam to the construction site.
The TGX was used here as ballasted tracktor. In total are ten Cometto axles pulled, distributed over two five-axle modules.
The MAN TGX 26.480 with 6x4-drive line is powered by a MAN D2676, a 12.8-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 353 kW (480 hp).
Behind the front axle are the muffler, a few compressed-air tanks and the battery mounted.
On top of the driven rear-axles is the ballast box with weights mounted. The truck is also fitted with a fifth-wheel so it can be used with king-pin trailers as well.
Towed are here in total two five-axle modules to support the cargo. On top of the modules are turn tables mounted, so that the cargo can rotate against the module.
The cargo is a large concrete beam with a length of 40 meters and a mass of 75 tonnes.
Once the cargo is unloaded are both modules attached to each other for further transport without cargo.
A sharp combination of Tiong Woon!
