Brande Maskintransport, meanwhile Mammoet Wind from Denmark, was in the summer of 2010 in the Netherlands to transport some oversized windmill blades.
It is a 4 axle tracktor with 530 hp. As usual of the Danish transporters painted in sharp company colors.
In particular special is the trailer. A Nicolas that is composed out of some loose parts.
Behind the cab is a big fueltank placed, finished with some storage boxes.
The trailer is composed. The wheelset, the bed, stinger and gooseneck each seperate pieces and composed together.
The combination at the right was extended, the one on the left not; as well a long trailer!
On the bed was standing the transport trestle for the windmill blade.
Some days later the combination was parked loaded in the windmill park.
The blade would be hoisted by the Liebherr LG 1550 of Sarens.
This blade is 58 meters long. Blades up to 61 meters are transportable with with this trailer.
The overpass at the rear is as well pithy.
