Iveco, that means Industrial VEhicle COrporation is an italian manufacturer of coaches and trucks. It was founded
in 1975 after some european truck manufacturers decided to fuse; these are FIAT, Officine Meccaniche (O.M.) and Lancia from Italy, Unic from France, and
Magirus-Deutz from Germany. The first product after the merger was the Iveco Daily, a delivery van. In the following years were Ford, Pegaso, Saurer and
Ital overtaken. By taking over Ital could Iveco aim on the pacific market. Current Iveco products are the Stralis and the Trakker. The Iveco group is
producing around 200,000 vehicles each year.
