Prins from Purmerend (NL) took in 2010 this sharp DAF XF 105.510 into operation. This was the first trip for the combination, with two oversized beams from Middenmeer (NL) to Amsterdam (NL). The truck was purchased used and has year of manufacture 2008.
The truck with 8x4-drive line is powered by a DAF 12.9-liter 6-cylinder engine with a power of 380 kW (510 hp).
Behind the front axle are the Euro 5 muffler and the AdBlue tank installed.
Behind the cabin are multiple storage compartments and the large dieseltank installed. The truck is technically approved for train weights up to 90 tonnes.
Attached is a 3-axle Nooteboom OVB-48-03V trailer that is extendable to a maximum length of 36.2 meters.
The cargo is a beam that was used for a temporary bridge and will now return to the storage yard. The beam is 34 meters long and weights 42 tonnes.
Challenging turn from the Alkmaarseweg into the N239 near Aartswoud (NL).
The combination needed to forward and reverse a couple of times, but could take the turn at the end.
On this side are a couple of compressed-air tanks and the battery installed behind the front axle. A very sharp vehicle in the colours of Prins, but was exported out of the Netherlands a while ago.
