Kurt Motz from Illertissen (DE) was using this sharp Liebherr LB 24 for kelly drilling for a new office building in Biberach an der Riss (DE).
The counterweight of the drilling rig weights 10.2 tonnes and has a tailswing of 3.7 meters.
The rig is powered by a Liebherr D 936 L A6 diesel engine with 362 hp. The engine powers three hydraulic pumps.
In the leader is hanging a Liebherr BA 240 rotary drive with a torque of 240 kNm. The mass of the rotary drive is 6.2 tonnes and can be used for piles with a 750 mm diameter and a maximum depth of 22 meters.
The leader has a maximum height of 22.86 meters and can be tilted frontwards 5 degrees, 15 degrees backwards and 8 degrees sideways.
The undercarriage is 5.6 meters long and 4.4 meters wide. For the transport over the road the undercarriage can be retracked up to a 3.4 meter transport width.
