This fine Terex AC 100 belongs to Xin Woon from Singapore (SG). It is a 100-tonne crane mounted on a 5-axle carrier. Here, the crane was parked along the road after completing a job.

The carrier is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 350 kW (476 hp). This crane has the optional 10x8x8 drive, whereby axles 1, 2, 4 and 5 are driven and steerable.

The outrigger base measures 7.1 x 7 metres, or 7.1 x 4.5 metres when half extended.

During transport on public roads, 16.6 tonnes of ballast is carried on the carrier. This is the maximum amount that geometrically fits on the carrier.

In transport condition, the crane is 14.085 metres long, 2.75 metres wide and 3.86 metres high. The transport weight is approximately 73 tonnes.

A further 8.4 tonnes of ballast remains mounted on the superstructure. The crane therefore carries a total of 25 tonnes of ballast. Two additional blocks weighing 3.5 tonnes each must be delivered by truck if required. The ballast has a swing radius of 3.95 metres. The crane is equipped with a 7-tonne hoist winch.

The five-section main boom has a base length of 12.5 metres and telescopes four times to a maximum length of 50.2 metres. Optionally, the main boom can be extended with a 9.2- to 17-metre-long folding jib. This jib can be mounted to the main boom at an angle of 0, 20 or 40 degrees.

A very fine and rugged crane from Xin Woon! This company operates mobile cranes with lifting capacities of up to 200 tonnes.
