The largest crane in the fleet of Winder Limmen from Alkmaar (NL) is since 2004 this sharp Terex AC 200-1 TP; the 7 axle version of the Terex AC 200-1.
The crane was used here to load four heavy precast concrete elements at the yard of the manufacturer in Alkmaar (NL), the crane was fitted with the full counterweight.
The first element is ready to get lifted, it is a concrete beam with a 10.4 meter length and a 1.6 meter breadth and height. The mass is around 60 tonnes.
The first element is hanging in the crane. The main boom is extended 25.1 meters here.
In this configuration the load can be lifted up to a maximum radius of 10 meters.
The Scania 124 G 420 with 6 axle semi low loader will drive the load to it's destination in Velsen (NL).
The undercarriage is powered by an 8 cylinder Mercedes-Benz diesel engine with 530 hp.
The crane is fitted here with 68.5 tonner of counterweight, which is the maximum. The tailswing is 4.95 meters.
The outrigger base measures 8.45 x 8.2 meters.
The advantage of the 7 axle undercarriage is that this crane can bring legal 16.4 tonnes of counterweight with him during the transport over the road.
The main boom has a 12.4 meter base length and a maximum length of 67.8 meters. Winder owns the crane with a 17 meter bi-fold swingaway jib.
The next beam is loaded onto the second truck.
On top of the 7th axle is a large box for lifting tools made. To shorten the crane, the 7th axle could be removed, this happend only once since the crane is working for Winder.
