Terex AC 350 - Wiemann
The nice Terex AC 350 of Wiemann from Dortmund (DE) on a huge construction site in Neckarsulm (DE), the crane was here used to dismalte or to erect a tower crane.
It is a 350 tonne auto crane on 6 axles. The crane has a transport mass of 72 tonnes. The dimensions of the packed crane are 16.72 x 3 x 4 meters ( l x w x h).
In the undercarriage is laying a water cooled 8-cylinder DaimlerChrysler OM 502 LA diesel engine with 609 hp. With them are 4 of the 6 axles driven, 5 axles are steerable.
In the superstructure is laying a DaimlerChrysler OM 906 LA diesel engine with 279 hp. With them are in total 7 hydraulic pumps driven, with them are the crane funktions powered.
Recognizable for the AC 350 is the counterweight. The first 52 tonnes exist out of plates with a 3 meter width. The is the adapter section of 10 tonnes placed, with above the standard "AC"-slabs that are also used by the AC 500 and 700. The crane can be used with 142 tonnes of counterweight in total, here was only 82 tonnes used. The tailswing is 5.8 meters.
The crane was here put up with a 37 meter luffig jib, the max. length is 71.5 meters.

This crane can also put up with a sideways superlift, the SSL.
The outrigger base of the crane is 8.5 x 8.5 meters, or half 8.5 x 5.5 meters.
