This is the second Terex AC 500-2 operated by Tiong Woon from Singapore (SG). It is a 500-tonne mobile crane mounted on an 8-axle carrier.

The carrier is powered by an MTU diesel engine with an output of 480 kW (653 hp). The carrier has a 16x8x14 drive configuration, with axles 1, 2, 4 and 5 being driven. Axles 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 are steerable. The fifth axle can be lifted.

The X-shaped outrigger base measures 9.62 x 9.6 metres, or 8 x 8.04 metres in the half configuration.

Here the crane was configured with 60 tonnes of ballast. The full ballast weighs 180 tonnes. The ballast slewing radius is 6.1 metres.

The crane was equipped with a luffing jib to install a steel structure on top of a new building between two existing buildings. Earlier, the Terex AC 350/6 was also deployed on the same construction site.

The luffing jib has a base length of 24 metres and can be extended in 6-metre sections to a maximum length of 96 metres.

Here the crane was deployed with a 48-metre-long luffing jib.

The main boom is extended here to a length of 28.6 metres. The final steel beams had to be installed at minimum radius. A fine crane from Tiong Woon!
