Terex AC 100
Tiong Woon
This impressive Terex AC 100 of Tiong Woon from Singapore (SG) was deployed at a storage yard for new construction machinery for light-duty operations. It is a 100-tonne telescopic crane mounted on a five-axle carrier.
In transport configuration, the crane measures 14.04 metres in length, 2.75 metres in width and 3.86 metres in height. The total weight of this crane is approximately 72 tonnes.
The five-axle carrier is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 350 kW (476 hp). As standard, the crane is supplied with a 10x6x8 drivetrain, with axles 2, 4 and 5 driven and axles 1, 2, 4 and 5 steerable.
The outrigger base measures 7.1 x 7 metres.
As standard, 10.4 tonnes of counterweight remain mounted on the superstructure; the counterweight has a slewing radius of 3.908 metres. The full counterweight package weighs 32 tonnes.
The five-section main boom has a base length of 12.5 metres and telescopes four times to a maximum length of 51 metres. Here, the main boom is extended to a length of 33.7 metres. Optionally, the main boom can be extended with a 9.2 to 17-metre folding jib.
