Terex CC 2800-1 - Sarens
This Terex CC 2800-1 was used to replace the Liebherr LR 1750 by the construction of a wind turbine.
The crane is on the photos about 2 years old and was only used to erect wind turbines in Germany.
The undercarriage is 11.6 meters long and 9.9 meters wide.
On the superstructure is hanging 180 tonnes of counterweight with a 7.8 meter tailswing. 180 tonnes of counterweight is only aloud together with 60 tonnes of lower weights.
Fitted with an 138 meter main boom and 12 meter fixed jib. The max. lifting capacity in this configuration is still 49.5 tonnes on a 20 meter radius.
Here is the crane hoisting one of the last tower section of the tower. Weights about 48 tonnes.
For the turbine itself was a Terex CC 8800-1 used. The 2800 was lateron used to hoist the rotor blades.
