Terex AC 100/4L

Pollisum

This fine Terex AC 100/4L belongs to Pollisum from Singapore (SG) and was parked along the roadside during a weekend. It is a 100-ton telescopic crane mounted on a 4-axle carrier.

The carrier is powered by an MTU 340-4 diesel engine with an output of 340 kW (462 hp). The diesel engine drives axles 1, 2 and 4, all axles are steerable.

This crane is the L-version and is therefore equipped with the six-section main boom with a length of 59.4 metres. Optionally, the main boom can be extended with a 10.1 or 19 metre folding jib.

When stowed, the crane is 13.24 metres long, 2.55 metres wide and 3.9 metres high. In this configuration, the crane weighs approximately 64 tons.

The outrigger base of the crane measures 8.12 x 7.2 metres, or half 8.12 x 4.72 metres.

At the front of the carrier, 9.7 tons of ballast are carried.

On the superstructure, 4.5 tons of ballast remain mounted as standard. A 6-ton ballast plate is carried at the rear of the carrier. This crane therefore carries 20.2 tons of ballast, which is the maximum that can be carried geometrically by the crane. Two additional side trays are required to complete the full ballast of 25.2 tons.

A very fine crane from Pollisum!
