Terex AC 80-2 - J+B Küpers
This Terex AC 80-2 of J+B Küpers from Osterwald (DE) was used by the construction of a smaller bio-energy powerplant.
It is an 80 tonne crane with 4 axles.
The outrigger base measures 7.7 x 7 meters, or half 7.7 x 4.5 meters.
In the hook of the crane is hanging a transport unit wherewith a sack of straw, automatically, from the storage hall to the oven is transported.
Near crane jobs is J+B Küpers also active in transport and excavator works.
The crane was used with only 5 tonnes of counterweight, with a maximum of 18 tonnes. The tailswing is 3.7 meters.
The 4-part main boom of the crane has a max. length of 50 metres and extends with use of 'oldstyle' cables instead of a pin system.
A nice crane of a company which has just celebrated it's 50 years of existance!
