Terex AC 700 - Hiap Tong
This sharp Terex AC 700 belongs to Hiap Tong from Singapore (SG) and stood during weekend parked in the yard. It is a 700-tonne crane mounted on a 9-axle carrier.
The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 480 kW (653 hp). The undercarriage has an 18x8x16-drive line, where the axles 3, 4, 8 and 9 are powered and the axles 1 to 5 and 7 to 9 are steerable.
The five-part main boom has a 15.5 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 60 meters. The main boom can be extended by a 50 meter fixed jib or a 96 meter luffing jib.
In transit is the crane 20.65 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters tall. The crane has a total mass of approx. 139 tonnes in the shown configuration.
The outrigger base measures 12.2 x 12.36 meters, or half 9 x 8.75 meters.
The superstructure is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 906 LA, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 205 kW (279 hp). During the transport over the road is the cabin slewed behind the superstructure.
