Terex AC 350/6 - Hiap Tong
This sharp Terex AC 350/6 belongs to Hiap Tong from Singapore (SG) stood during a public holiday parked in a construction area. It is a 350-tonne mobile rane mounted on a 6-axle carrier.
The 6-axle carrier is powered by a MTU 450-3a diesel engine with a power of 450 kW (612 hp). This crane has the standard 12x8x10-drive line, where the axles 2, 4, 5 and 6 are powered and the axle 1 to 3, 5 and 6 are steerable.
The 6-part main boom has an 18.2 meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 64 meters.
The outrigger base measures 8.7 x 8.5 meters, or half 8.7 x 5.54 meters.
During the transport over the road is the crane 16.71 meters long, 2.98 meters wide and 4 meters tall. The transport mass in this configuration is about 87.5 tonnes.
It is possible to mount maximum 116.7 tonnes of counterweight to the superstructure, the counterweight has a 5.65 meter tailswing. The crane is fitted with an 11.5-tonne hoist winch.
The superstructure is powered by an MTU 205-3a diesel engine with a power of 205 kW (279 hp). The diesel engine powers multiple hydraulic pumps to move all four crane motions at the same time.
Somewhere else was a trailer with 62.4 tonnes of counterweight parked, each of these six blocks have a mass of 10.4 tonnes.
On the carrier is an 8-tonne baseplate for the counterweight stored.
