Terex A 450 - Fincimec
This interesating Terex A 450 of Fincimec from Novara (IT) was used on a large construction site in Rotterdam (NL). It is a 40-tonne RT crane with year of manufacture 2003.
On the cabin appears the name Bendini, an Italian manufacturer of RT cranes that became in 1989 part of the PPM group. In 1995 was the PPM group overtaken by Terex.
The undercarriage has a 4x4x4-drive line and is powered by a Cummins B5.9, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 113 kW. The crane has a total mass of 27.6 tonnes.
Attached to the superstructure is 5.7 tonnes of counterweight with a 3.43 meter tailswing. The hoist winch has a line pull of 3.8 tonnes and is using a 15 mm wire rope.
The outrigger base measures 5.85 x 5.83 meters.
Between the axles are the large hydraulic oil tank and the compressed-air tanks mounted.
The 4-part main boom has an 8.8 meter base length and extends to a maximum length of 27.1 meters. The main boom can be extended by a 6.8 meter long jib, mountable under 0 or 25 degrees to the main boom.
