The largest crane that is used by Asiagroup from Singapore (SG) is this sharp and interesting Terex AC 1000 with year of manufacture 2012 and serial number 5. It is a 1000-tonne crane mounted on a 9-axle carrier.
The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 480 kW (653 hp). The crane has a 18x8x18-drive line, where the axles 2, 3, 5 and 6 are powered. All axles are steerable.
In transit is the crane 20.48 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters tall. In this configuration has a crane a total mass of 138.5 tonnes.
The outrigger base measures 13.5 x 13.5 meters, or half 9.8 x 9.7 meters. During the transport over the road are the front outriggers extended, over the axles 3 to 6.
Below the slewing ring is the seventh axle mounted. The rear outriggers are taken retracked over the axles 8 and 9.
The crane brings a 5-part main boom with a length of 50 meters. Optionally is the main boom to be extended by another four sections to a total length of 100 meters.
During crane operation is a maximum of 228 tonnes of counterweight mounted to the superstructure.
