Sumitomo SC 500 - IJM
IJM is a large construction company from Malaysia and is using this sharp Sumitomo SC 500 as assist crane on their yard in Kuala Lumpur (MY). It is a 50-tonne crawler crane.
The crane is powered by a Hino H06CT, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 110 kW (150 hp). The diesel engine poweres multiple hydraulic pumps.
The undercarriage is 5.725 meters long and 4.35 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width to be reduced to 3.3 meters.
The A-frame has in working position a total height of 5.5 meters and can for the transport over the road folded down.
In total is 15.9 tonnes of counterweight mounted, the counterweight exists out of four parts of 6.1 tonnes, two of 2.6 tonnes and 4.6 tonnes. The counterweight has a 3.9 meter tailswing.
The main boom has a 12.2 meter base length and can be extended in 3.05 meter steps to a total length of 51.85 meters.
This crane is fitted with a 24.4 meter long main boom. In this configuration is the crane able to hoist maximum 27.1 tonnes on a 5.5 meter radius or 4 tonnes to a 22.2 meter radius. A very sharp crane by IJM!
