Spierings SK2400-AT7 - Feldmann

Feldmann showed during their open day this sharp Spierings SK2400-AT7, it is the largest mobile tower crane of this company.

It is also the largest type mobile tower crane worldwide, with a lifting moment of 243 meterton and a maximum capacity of 18 tonnes. The jib has a standard length of 42 meters and can optional also be delivered with a 50 meter jib.

The crane is mounted on a 7 axle undercarriage. Packed has this crane a 17.2 meter length, a 3 meter breadth and a 4 meter height. The transport weight is around 84 tonnes.

The undercarriage is powered by a DAF MX 375 S1 12.9 liter diesel engine with 510 hp. Four of the seven axles are driven, all axles are steerable.

Here is the maximum height of the crane demonstrated, the tower is extended double to a 37.2 meter height and the 42 meter jib is angled 30 degrees. A maximum hook height of 55 meters is reached in this configuration. The crane can lift at that point 5.5 tonnes with the outriggers fully extended.

The half outrigger base measures 7.95 x 5.72 meters and the full outrigger base measures 7.95 x 7.63 meters.

The superstructure is powered by a John Deere 4045HF475 with 176 hp. The superstructure has a 4.625 meter tailswing.
