At Fuster Spezialtiefbau's yard in Staad (CH) stood this fresh refurbished P&H 320 dragline parked. This is an old machine from P. Gallusser from Rorschach (CH).
As a lifting crane is this an 18 tonne crane. The main boom has a 9.14 meter base length and has a maximum length of 27.43 meters. The main boom can be extended with a 7.62 meter fixed jib under a 30 degree angle.
The undercarriage is 4.19 meters long and 3.25 meters wide. The crane has a total weight of around 23 tonnes.
The counterweight weights 1,360 kg and has a 3.31 meter tailswing.
European machines are powered by a Deutz F6L 912, a 6 cylinder water cooled diesel engine with 90 hp, or by a 4 cylinder DAF DD 575 A. The european cranes were built by Rheinstahl in Dortmund (DE).
The crane looks after his refurbishment almost new.
Two 7 tonne freefall hoist winches with new hoist cables on the drums.
The crane is fitted here with a 15.24 meter main boom.
