This P&H 320 of P. Gallusser from Rorschach (CH) is still often used as a dragline.
It is a 18.1 tonne (20 US ton) crane. The tracks are machanically driven by chains. The undercarriage is 4.19 meters long and 3.25 meters wide.
The crane has a mass of aprox. 23 tonnes, whereof only 1.4 tonnes are counterweight. The tailswing is 3.31 meters. A nice detail is the slewing ring with rollers.
This company owns some more P&H draglines, the 320 is the biggest one.
Powered is the crane by a Deutz F6L 912 engine with 90 hp.
The boom has a 9.14 meter base length and a max. length of 27.43 meters. The intermediate sections are 3.05 meters long.
The crane was here put up with 12.19 meters of boom on a smaller job site.
