Asiagroup from Singapore (SG) deploys multiple of this Manitowoc 8500-1 crawler cranes. It is an 80-tonne crawler crane that was built in cooperation with Kobelco.
The undercarriage is 6.28 meters long and 5.244 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width to be reduced to 3.614 meters.
The crane is powered by a Hino J08E-UV, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 213 kW (285 hp).
Attached to the undercarriage is a central counterweight with a total mass of 6.5 tonnes. Per side one 3.25-tonne slab.
The crane is fitted with two 7.7-tonne hoist winches with a 22 mm hoist wire rope.
Attached to the superstructure is a 5-part counterweight with a total mass of 26.12 tonnes, the counterweight has a 4.5 meter tailswing.
The main boom is fitted with a fixed jib, the fixed jib has a minimum length of 9.1 meters and a maximum length of 18.3 meters. The fixed jib can be mounted on a maximum 54.9 meter long main boom. Without jib is the main boom maximum 61 meters long.
Here was the crane fitted with a 33.5 meter long main boom and a 12.2 meter long fixed jib with a 30 degree offset. A sharp crane of Asiagroup!
