This impressive Link-Belt HC-258 of Asiagroup was erected on their yard in Singapore (SG). It is a 200 US tons (181.4 tonne) crane with lattice boom mounted on a 6-axle carrier.
The outrigger base of the crane measures 7.32 x 8.2 meters. To reduce the total mass of the crane for the transport over the road is it possible to dismantle the outrigger beams.
The undercarriage is 13.19 meters long, 3.61 meters wide and 3.9 meters tall. The undercarriage has a 12x6-drive line, where the last three axles are powered and the front three axles are steerable.
The undercarriage could be powered by two different engines; a 12-cylinder GM engine or a 6-cylinder Cummins engine.
The superstructure could be powered by two differend engines; an 8-cylinder GM egnine or a 6-cylinder Cummins engine.
The cabin on the superstructure is adjustable in height.
Attached to the superstructure is a two-part counterweight, the parts have a mass of 9.5 and 22.2 tonnes. The counterweight has a 5.77 meter tailswing.
