The Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 of Schmidbauer, from the company in Münich (DE), was used to take down a tower crane in Biberach (DE).
It is a 6 axle telescopic crane with a 350 tonne capacity. Schmidbauer has chosen for the 12 x 8 x 12 undercarriage, the version with 4 driven axles and with all axles steerable.
The outrigger base measures 8.93 x 8.53 meters.
The undercarriage is powered by an 8-cylinder Liebherr diesel engine with 612 hp.
The superstructure is powered by a 4 cylinder dieselengine with 245 hp. To adjust the angle of the main boom is a single hydraulic ram used.
The crane is here fitted with 100 tonnes of counterweight, the max. counterweight is 140 tonnes. The counterweight has a 5.7 meter tailswing.
The crane is here in TNH assembly fitted, with luffing jib but without boom guying. The main boom is extendable from 14.9 to 70 meters. The luffing jib has a max. length of 78 meters. Here is the crane fitted with a 36 meter luffing jib and the main boom is extended 35.2 meters.
The assist crane is the Liebherr LTM 1100/1 from the yard in Memmingen (DE) used.
