Liebherr LTM 1100/1 - Schmidbauer
A Liebherr LTM 1100/1 of Schmidbauer, from the yard in Memmingen (DE) parked along the road during the weekend.
It is a 100 tonne crane on 5 axles and weights 60 tonnes. Packed is the crane 13.66 meters long, 2.9 meters wide and 3.9 meters height.
In the undercarriage is laying a Mercedes-Benz OM 442 LA with 435 hp. The crane has a 10x6x10 driveline and is able to reach a driving speed of 62 km/h.
The 5-part boom can be extended up to 45 meters and is extendable with a 20 meter folding jib. The first boom section is kept a bit extended in order to let the big hookblock reefed.
The crane has a max. of 20 tonnes counterweight with a 4 meter tailswing. During transport over the road isn't any counterweight taken on the undercarriage, to reduce the axle loads.
