In November 2020 was the sharp Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 of Kim Soon Lee from Singapore (SG) used for the assembly of a large tower crane.
It is a 300-tonne mobile crane mounted on a six-axle carrier with year of manufacture 2014.
The crane was fitted with the full counterweight of 96 tonnes, the counterweight has a 5.6 meter tailswing. The counterweight exists out of a 6-tonne base plate, five plates with a 10-tonne mass and four hang-on slabs with a 10-tonne mass.
The outrigger base measures 8.93 x 8.53 meters.
It is the largest crane in Kim Soon Lee's fleet, that only exists out of Liebherr mobile cranes.
The seven-part main boom has a 14.7 meter base length and extends six times to a maximum length of 78 meters. Here is the main boom extended to a 34.2 meter length.
The assist crane on this job is this sharp Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2, also of Kim Soon Lee.
The job is about to start now. The tower crane is a Liebherr 710 HC-L 32/64 Litronic on an internal climbing tower 24 HC 1000. Here is the climbing section, the "D-section" with a 20-tonne mass tilted by both cranes from horizontal into vertical position.
This tower section has a 5.7 meter length. The tower crane is installed on a 16 meter radius.
Rapidly are further tower sections, each with a 5.7 meter length and a mass of 8.5 tonnes, installed. Here are two towers lifted at the same time, the main boom is extened to a length of 53.6 meters now.
At the end is the climbing tower with a 13.8 tonne mass installed on top of the tower. The main boom is here extended to a 58.5 meter length.
The last lift for that day is the slewing ring with A-frame and cabin, a lift of approx. 20.5 tonnes.
This tower crane does also belongs to Kim Soon Lee, in total does she own two of these cranes. These are the strongest luffing jib tower cranes that are currently available in Singapore.
The job continues on the next working day, the lifting of the machinery platform (16.6 tonnes) and hoist winch (12.2 tonnes) couldn't be observed.
The A-frame has a 10.1 tonne mass. The main boom is here extended to a length of 63.3 meters.
Kim Soon Lee was also deploying their own fleet of trucks to deliver the tower crane components to the construction site.
One of the last and largest (in terms of volume) is the 40 meter jib, the jib has a mass of approx. 15 tonnes.
In this configuration is the tower crane able to hoist maximum 64 tonnes to a 15.9 meter radius of 22.85 tonnes to a 40 meter radius. So far these are the only two 64-tonne luffing jib tower cranes that are available in Singapore!
Both Liebherr 710 HC-L 32/64 Litronic of Kim Soon Lee would be deployed on this project to hoist heavy concrete precast elements. The second tower crane will be installed by the first tower crane, a sharp job done by Kim Soon Lee!
