This sharp Liebherr LTR 1220 of Glass from Mindelheim (DE) is mainly used for the installation of precast concrete elements. It is a 220-tonne crawler crane with telescopic boom with year of manufacture 2018. The crane was working here on a large job site in Bad Grönebach (DE).
The undercarriage is 9.1 meters long and 7.25 meters wide.
The crane is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 230 kW (312 hp). The diesel engine powers in total five hydraulic pumps to move the crane functions.
Attached to the super structure is in total 70 tonnes of counterweight, that exists out of a 10-tonne base plate with six 10-tonne clabs. The counterweight has a 5.085 meter tailswing.
A track is 9.1 meters long, 1 meter wide and 1.56 meters tall. The transport mass each is 17.9 tonnes.
This crane is fitted with the optional second hoist winch, this winch wasn't used on this job. Both hoist winches have a 10 tonne line pull and are fitted with a 23 mm wire rope.
Glass is deploying multiple cranes that are mainly used for the installation of concrete precast elements and also operates a large fleet of trucks for the transport of concrete products or own construction machinery.
Attached to the undercarriage is in total 20 tonnes of central counterweight, 10 tonnes per side.
The 6-part main boom has a 13.3 meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 60 meters. Next to the boom is the 3.4 meter jib stored.
