Dufour was using this Liebherr LTR 1100 telescopic boom crawler crane as assist crane by her Terex CC 2800-1. Dufour is owning 15 of these cranes.
For the transport over the road the crawlers can be retrackted, the crane is then only 3.5 meters wide. The tracks can also be removed, each track weights 9.7 tonnes.
And when the tracks are removed, the crane can stand on his four jack-up cylinders. The base machine can load itself then onto a semi-lowloader. The mass of the base machine with boom is about 36 tonnes. With the tracks extended is the undercarriage 5.05 meters wide. Between the trucks are 15 tonnes of central counterweight mounted.
The crane is here fitted with 26 tonnes of counterweight, existing out of two wide slabs with each 10 tonnes and two smaller slabs with each 3 tonnes. The tailswing is 4.42 meters. Between the smaller slabs is the second winch mounted, but is here not used. The max. counterweight weights 32 tonnes.
The main boom has a 11.5 meter base length and extends 5x up to a 52 meter length. The boom is extendable with a 19 meter folding jib and between the folding jib and main boom is it possible to add extension sections, the lattice complete extension has than a 33 meter length.
The crane is powered by a 4-cylinder Liebherr diesel engine with 175 hp. The engine powers three hydraulic pumps for the crane functions.
A nice and useful crane!
