This sharp Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 belongs to Commandeur & Plomp from De Rijp (NL) and was together with the LTM 1130-5.1 used in Amsterdam (NL) to hoist some trees. This crane came in 2009 in operation with Commandeur & Plomp.
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp). This crane has the optional 8x6x8-drive line, where the axles 1, 3 and 4 are powered and all axles are steerable.
In transit is the crane 12.52 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.85 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 48 tonnes.
The outrigger base of the crane measures 8 x 6.3 meters, or half 8 x 4.5 meters.
The crane has a 6-part main boom with an 11 meter base length that extends five times to a maximum length of 50 meters. The main boom can be extended by a bi-fold swingaway jib with a length of 9.5 - 16 meters. The jib is under an angle of 0, 20, 40 or 60 degrees mountable.
The main boom is here 46.9 meters extended.
Attached to the main boom head is a camera system.
In total is this crane bringing 14.5 tonnes of counterweight with it, 6.2 tonnes are fixed to the superstructure and 8.3 tonnes are stored on the undercarriage during the transport over the road. The counterweight has a 3.46 meter tailswing. The crane is fitted with a 5.7-tonne hoist winch.
