At the end of 2018 took Commandeur & Plomp from De Rijp (NL) this sharp Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 into operation. It is a 130 tonne crane mounted on a 5-axle carrier. Here was the crane in Amsterdam (NL) in operation to hoist some trees.
The crane is 14.8 meters long, 2.75 meters wide and 4 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 60 tonnes.
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 400 kW (544 hp). This crane has the standard 10x6x10-drive line, where the axles 2, 4 and 5 are powered. All axles are steerable.
The cabin on the superstructure is adjustable in height.
At the rear of the chassis is a large storage compartment for rigging mounted, the compartment has an opening in the centre for the heavy coupling. On top of the compartment are the outrigger pads stored.
Some moments later is the crane erected and ready to hoist a tree.
The outrigger base measures 8.07 x 7.5 meters.
The superstructure has it's own engine, a 4-cylinder Liebherr diesel engine with a power of 129 kW (175 hp). The engine powers three hydraulic pumps to move the crane functions.
Here was the crane used with 18.9 tonnes of counterweight, the full counterweight of the crane is 42 tonnes. The counterweight has a 4.2 meter tailswing.
The optional cab lift offers the crane operator a vision height of approx. 8.1 meters. This option is offered by Liebherr on some cranes.
The 6-part main boom has a 12.7 meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 60 meters. The main boom is here 38.8 meters long.
A very sharp crane of Commandeur & Plomp!
