This sharp Liebherr LTM 1160/2 of Gruas Burgui from Pamplona (ES) was used to lift construction materials over a huge building in the city of Pamplona.
He is together with the Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 of Gruas Albur the biggest crane in the region. The outrigger base measures 8.85 x 8.3 meters and was here partly put up on the public road.
The crane has a Liebherr D9408 TI 8-cylinder turbo diesel with 544 hp in the undercarriage and a Liebherr D 914 TI 170 hp diesel engine in the upperstructure.
Packed is the crane 15.27 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters height. The transport mass is about 60 tonnes.
The main boom is here 56.3 meters extended (with a maximum of 60 meters) and is extended with a 12.2 meter folding jib which is luffed under 45 degrees.
The point-section to complete the 22 meter folding jib is still hanging along the base section. With two extra jib-sections of each 7 meters has the jib a max. length of 36 meters.
Fitted with 35 tonnes of counterweight, that is extendable by two 7.5 tonne hang-on slabs to 50 tonnes. The counterweights are transported by 'normal' trucks. There is no ballast truck like companies in the Netherlands do. During transport over the road the 11 tonne base plate is taken by the crane itself on the undercarriage.
A very beautiful crane is this colors, which was standing a long time on my wish-list.
