This Krupp KMK3045 of Jark Kranverleih from Otterndorf (DE) war in Debstedt (DE) used to erect a steel construction. Jark Kranverleih is a company of Witte Stahl- und Metalbau GmbH (also from Otterndorf) and owns two cranes whereof this the biggest one is.
It is a 45 tonne crane on 3 axles and a mass of 36 tonnes. The outrigger base of the crane is 6.35 x 5.7 meters.
Packed is the crane 11.55 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and 3.7 meters high.
In the undercarriage is laying a Mercedes-Benz OM 442 diesel engine with 300 hp. When the crane is driving on the roads a speed of 63 km/h can be reached.
A part of the counterweight (3.6 tonnes) is laying on the undercarriage. The total counterweight is 9.6 tonnes.
The main boom has a 10.1 meter base length and is fully extended 32.1 meters long. The main boom can be extended with a 8 or 13 meter long folding jib.
Krupp was building crane in Wilhelmshaven (DE), now are there still cranes build, but by Grove because they took over Krupp. This construction site was not far away from Wilhelmshaven.
The year of manufacture is 1991 and on the photos the crane is 23 years old, the crane looks properly maintained!
At the rear of the superstructure is 5.2 tonne of counterweight mounted, a 0.8 tonne part is missing. The tailswing is 3.24 meters.
