This sharp Kobelco 7120 belongs to Sin Heng from Singapore (SG). It is a 120-tonne crawler crane that was used on a large construction site, together with the Grove GMK6220L, also of Sin Heng.
The undercarriage is 7.89 meters long and 6.31 meters wide. The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D24-TLE2A, an 11.9-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 235 kW.
Attached to the superstructure is 52.3 tonnes of counterweight, the tailswing is 4.9 meters. The counterweight exists out of six parts; a 9.9-tonne base plate, three 10-tonne slabs and two blocks on top, one of 6.3 tonnes and one of 6.1 tonnes.
During crane operation is the A-frame 7.89 meters tall.
The main boom has a 15.2 meter base length and a maximum length of 61 meters. Here was the crane fitted with a 39.6 meter long main boom.
Both hoist winches are in operation here, both winches have a 12-tonne line pull and are using a 26 mm hoist wire rope.
