This sharp Kobelco 7250-2F of Bok Seng from Singapore (SG) stood on their yard and was used for various hoisting works. It is a 250-tonne crawler crane.
The crane is powered by a Hino P11C-UN, a 10.52-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 247 kW. The diesel engine powers in total four hydraulic pumps.
The undercarriage of the crane is 8.97 meters long and 7.47 meters wide.
Between the tracks is in total 20 tonnes of central counterweight mounted.
For the transport over the road are the tracks to be separated from the undercarriage. A single track is 8.97 meters long, 1.07 meters wide and 1.355 meters tall. The mass each is 20 tonnes.
Attached to the superstructure is in total 97.1 tonnes of counterweight. The counterweight has a 5.85 meter tailswing.
The crane is fitted with two 13.5-tonne hoist winches. The main boom has a 15.2 meter base length and a maximum length of 76.2 meters.
Here was the crane fitted with a 51.8 meter main boom. In this configuration is the crane able to hoist maximum 77 tonnes on a 10.8 meter radius or 12.8 tonnes to a 46.5 meter radius. A very sharp crane of Bok Seng!
A few months later I found the Kobelco 7250-2F of Bok Seng on a large construction site in Singapore (SG). Here was a new bridge under construction, the crane was used for the lifting of bridge segments.
The segments have a mass of approx. 42 tonnes, the lifting frame weights around 4 tonnes. The crane is here fitted with a 30.5 meter main boom.
On the same construction project was also the Kobelco SL6000 of Bok Seng used. The large crane was building the section over the canal, the smaller crane the section over land. An interesting job by Bok Seng!
